Challenge

  • Hotel in the process of closing.
  • Project required refurbishing the hotel and upgrading the facilities and equipment in a semi-abandoned state for reopening. Updating permits and certifications.
  • Need for new contracting on a sales level and repositioning of the product on all levels.

Planning

Two-phase project:

  • An initial phase required refurbishing the facilities and equipment, updating certifications and recruiting a hotel management team.
  • A second phase included commercial repositioning and the relaunch of hotel operations.

 

Achievement

The hotel has become a point of reference in Barcelona’s periphery, competing with established brands like Novotel, Hesperia, Campanille and NH.
