The 4-star Hotel Las Águilas Tenerife – Affiliated by Meliá, with 216 suites, located in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), has been acquired by US investment manager Apollo Global Management. The hotel has been operating since last July under the ‘Affiliated by Meliá’ brand through the direct operation of the hotel management ADH Hotels & Resorts.
In this hotel, all suites have balcony, bedroom and separate living room. Its exteriors have 10,000 m2 of landscaped areas, perfect for relaxing by the pool and enjoying the island’s climate. Its facilities also include a heated swimming pool and a tennis court. Concerning the gastronomic offer, the establishment is committed to quality and proximity in its buffet restaurant ‘Amaltea’ and ‘Bistro Aquila’, an à la carte restaurant with Italian specialities. In the snack-bar ‘Mirador’ you can have an aperitif by the swimming pool with spectacular sea views. There is also a show-bar ‘Vulcano’, where you can enjoy a varied selection of international drinks and cocktails, while being entertained by professional evening shows or music.
The hotel is the ideal place for any type of event, meeting or conference. The events area has more than 1300 m2 divided into 5 modular rooms which can be joined together to form a single large one with a capacity of up to 1000 people for cocktails. It offers a glass front and a large terrace with views to the Orotava-Valley and El Teide.
